Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and the Blue Lagoon
On arrival, you will be met by your private chauffeur, who will transfer you from Keflavík airport to the amazing Blue Lagoon Spa. After the healing bath, head to your hotel in Reykjavík, where you will be greeted with Champagne and chocolate from Iceland´s finest chocolatier. Enjoy the afternoon/evening exploring the city and dining at one of Reykjavik’s fines restaurants. Stay in a quality hotel in the heart of Reykjavík.

Highlights: Blue Lagoon, Reykjavik.


Day 2: Super Jeep Adventure

Spend the day on a thrilling, super-jeep tour with your knowledgeable guide. Sights include Deildartunguhver, the largest hot spring in Europe; the beautiful Hraunfossar ‘lava waterfalls’ and glacier Langjökull. On our way back, we drive the interior road through Kaldidalur valley to the National Park Þingvellir. Stay in a quality hotel in the heart of Reykjavík.

Highlights: Deildartunguhver, Hraunfossar, Barnafossar, glacier Langjökull and Þingvellir National Park.
Day 3: Romance by Snæfellsjökull Glacier
After you have received the rental car you will head to Snæfellsjökull National Park, a perfect location for nature lovers with amazing bird life, lush valleys and lava fields. The glacier is believed by many to be one of Earth’s seven major energy centres, and it was the backdrop to Jules Verne’s Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Snæfellsnes is great for horse riding tours and walks on the beach, as well as to watch birds by the coastline under Snæfelsjökull glacier. Stay at the beautiful seaside hotel Búðir. Driving distance approx. 280km.

Highlights: Snæfellsjökull National Park, Snæfellsjökull Glacier, Búðir, Hellnar, Arnarstapi, Lóndrangar, Dritvík and Stykkishólmur.


Day 4: Geysir and Gullfoss

Travel to some of the best-known natural phenomena in Iceland, including Þingvellir National Park, the incredible hot springs, Geysir and Strokkur and Gullfoss, the queen of Iceland's waterfalls. Driving distance approx. 260km.

Highlights: Borgarnes, Geysir, Strokkur and Gullfoss 

Day 5: Cliffs and Waterfalls

Drive to the graceful Seljalandsfoss waterfall, experience walking behind the flowing water and feel the light drizzle. Head on to visit Skógafoss waterfall, the Skógar folk museum and the spectacular black volcanic sand beach of Vík. If the weather permits, you will have the opportunity to experience a guided glacial hike or riding Icelandic horses. These activities are not included in the tour price but can be added on request. Stay the night at a charming country-hotel in Hella area. Driving distance approx. 270km.

Highlights: Volcanic crater Kerið, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Skógar folk museum, Vík, Reynisdrangar and Dyrhólaey


Day 6: A day in Reykjavík

Drive back through the south coast to Reykjavík. You might wish to make a stop at visit the tiny seashore village of Stokkseyri for a lunch at the highly acclaimed lobster-restaurant “Við Fjöruborðið” before arriving back to Reykjavik. It is ideal to enjoy the afternoon exploring the city further, perhaps doing some last-minute shopping, visit some of Reykjavík´s many museums, thermal baths or Spas. Stay in a quality hotel in Reykjavík. Driving distance approx. 100km.

Highlights: Stokkseyri, Eyrarbakki and Reykjavik.


Day 7: Departure

Private transfer to Keflavik International Airport in time for your departure flight.
