Day 1: Blue Lagoon and Exploring Reykjavík
On arrival, you’ll be met by your private chauffeur, who will transfer you from Keflavík Airport to the amazing Blue Lagoon spa, where you will enjoy a deep, relaxing massage before heading to your hotel in Reykjavík. After settling into the hotel, you’ll be introduced to the city by our professional guide, who will take you on an excursion to unusual and original places, where you can see, feel and taste what makes Reykjavík tick. In the evening we’ll take you to Reykjavik’s finest seafood restaurant, Seafood Cellar. Stay the night in a deluxe room at the boutique 101 Hotel.

Day 2: The Wonders of Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Today we’ll take you on a full-day drive to Snæfellsjökull National Park at the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. This amazing peninsula is the perfect location for nature lovers, with amazing birdlife, lush valleys and lava fields. Snæfellsnes Glacier is believed by many to be one of Earth’s seven major energy centers, and was the backdrop to Jules Verne’s famous novel Journey to the Centre of the Earth. The area is great for horse riding tours and walks on the beach, as well as to watch birds, and sometimes seals, by the coastline under Snæfelsjökull Glacier. We’ll take you on top of the glacier, where you will have the opportunity to blaze around on a snowmobile. Stay and dine at the beautiful seaside Hotel Búðir.

Day 3: Breiðafjörður Nature Cruise and Þingvellir National Park
We’ll start the day by heading to Stykkishólmur. From there we’ll take you on a cruise to explore the natural paradise of Breiðafjörður Fjord, where we’ll observe a fantastic variety of birdlife, including puffins, eider ducks, kittiwakes, fulmars and the white-tailed eagle. We’ll sail through tidal currents, see some very strangely shaped cliffs and enjoy the exhilarating peacefulness of entering a world of wildlife, thriving in its own natural environment. If interested, you’ll have the opportunity to go deep sea fishing. After the cruise we explore the stunning Þingvellir National Park before settling in at the premier hotel, Hotel Hengill in a mountain-setting.

Day 4: Grand Waterfalls, Spouting Geysers and Glacier Valleys
Today, you’ll visit some of the best-known natural phenomena in southwest Iceland, including three spectacular waterfalls: Gullfoss, the great Geysir area, Skógarfoss and Seljalandsfoss. Then, we’ll take you to the lovely Vík area, and show you the black volcanic beach south of the village, and to view the rock formations Dyrhólaey and Reynisdrangar. We will then take you to the the luxury resort Hotel Rangá, where you’ll enjoy a gourmet meal and overnight.
Highlights: Gullfoss, Geysir area, Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss, glacier Mýrdalsjökull, Vík and Reynisdrangar.
Optional activities: glacier-hike and snow-mobiling.
Day 5: Departure
From Rangá, we will take you over the fertile farmland of southwest Iceland. We will visit the charming village of Stokkseyri and stop at its famous restaurant, By the Seaside, to taste its delicious lobster. The journey then continues as we take you to the volcanic wonderland of Reykjanes Peninsula including Lake Kleifarvatn and the colourful Seltún (Krýsuvík) with its boiling mud-pots and on to Keflavík International Airport in time for your afternoon flight.
