December 23: Þorláksmessa - A Night of Celebrations
On arrival at Keflavík Airport, you are met by your private driver and transferred to your hotel in central Reykjavik where you will spend the next three nights. The rest of the day is free to explore Reykjavik with its assortment of cosy restaurants, cafés, shops, museums and nightclubs. This evening, why not join the locals in one of their holiday traditions? December 23rd is called Þorláksmessa (St. Þorlákur’s Mass), an evening when the city centre fills with thousands of people who come to enjoy the festive atmosphere and do some last-minute Christmas shopping.

December 24: Christmas Eve With a City Tour
Start the day with a magical city walking tour with a local guide dressed in Iceland´s national costume! As you walk through the beautifully decorated downtown, you will get an insight into Iceland Christmas traditions as well as the history, art, architecture, culture, and cuisine of the city. At each stop, you are treated to little tastes of Iceland and its culinary secrets. You also get a lovely Christmas gift – a special souvenir of Iceland! At 18:00, the church bells ring throughout Reykjavik as the Icelanders begin their Christmas celebrations with their families. For travellers, there are various gourmet restaurants open tonight and we are happy to book a table for you!

December 25: Gleðileg Jól at The Golden Circle
Enjoy this peaceful day by visiting some of Iceland’s most popular natural attractions in their “winter coats”! Today’s guided tour takes you along the famous Golden Circle route, with such sights as the remarkable Þingvellir National Park, the incredible hot springs and geysers at the Haukadalur geothermal area, and Gullfoss, the “queen” of Iceland's waterfalls. And as we say in Iceland—Gleðileg Jól (Merry Christmas)!

December 26: Blue Lagoon & Departure
All good things must come to an end! Today, it’s time to pack up your holiday gifts and souvenirs and return home after this special Nordic Christmas getaway. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the unique Blue lagoon for a relaxing swim, surrounded by a lava field, before heading to the airport in time for your afternoon flight.

• We highly recommend reserving tables in advance at restaurants near Christmas Day since there are a limited number of restaurants open. We are happy to assist with reservations on request. We recommend the festive Christmas dinner at VOX Restaurant.
• Although the winter climate in Iceland is generally mild compared to other northern European countries, the temperature can drop below freezing at times. Please bring windproof/waterproof outerwear, and plenty of warm layers.
