Introduction

This is an excellent package for those who want to get away over a weekend. Escape the daily grind for a while to experience a unique city and its province in ultimate comfort - enjoy a luxury weekend in Reykjavík City.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival/Reykjavík
On arrival in Keflavík Airport, you will be met by your private chauffeur who will transfer you to Reykjavík, where you will enjoy your three-night stay in a Jr. Suite at one of Reykjavík’s deluxe hotels. After settling into the hotel, you will be introduced to the city by your guide, who will take you on an excursion to unusual and original places where you can see, feel and taste what makes Reykjavík tick.

Day 2: Golden Circle Tour with a Twist
Combine the classical sights of the Golden Circle with a true Icelandic adventure on this private 4X4 Super Jeep tour. One of the many highlights is Þingvellir National Park, listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List and a site of immense beauty. From there you will be taken through the beautiful countryside to an active geological area, to visit the incredible spouting hot springs, Geysir and Strokkur. Then visit the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss, the queen of Iceland’s waterfalls and Langjökull Glacier, where you will enjoy a thrilling, hour-long snowmobile tour. Finally, you will visit the implosion crater Kerið before heading back to your hotel.

Highlights: Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, Geysir, Kerið and Langjökull Glacier.

Day 3: Day at Leisure
The day is open for more sightseeing or just relaxing, for example by visiting one of the cities great spas. Optional tours include the Landmannalaugar Highland Tour, the South Cost Adventure and a day-tour to Europe's largest glacier.

Day 4: Blue Lagoon Departure Tour
Take a private 4x4 guided tour to visit the geologically active Lake Kleifarvatn area and Krýsuvík cove before visiting the Blue Lagoon spa. The lagoon is renowned for its healing powers and voted the best medical spa worldwide by the readers of “Conde Nast Traveller”. In the lagoon, you will be pampered with a 30-min. in-water massage that softens and relaxes—a soothing experience for body and soul and a perfect end to your holiday. You will then be taken from the lagoon to Keflavík International Airport in time for an afternoon flight. (Note: If your flight is in the morning, we’ll change your travel itinerary accordingly).
