Introduction

Enjoy the bright nights, whale watching, hot springs and bathing in the amazing Blue Lagoon. Truly an unforgettable weekend in Europe’s northernmost capital!

Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Reykjavík
Upon arrival at Keflavik Intn Airport, your private chauffeur will await you and take you to your hotel in Reykjavik. You will be free for the rest of the day to explore Reykjavik, visit museums, landmarks and such. Downtown Reykjavík offers a plethora of excellent restaurants, cafés, bars and clubs, for those who want to experience the renowned Reykjavík nightlife. Stay overnight at a hotel or guesthouse in central Reykjavík.

Day 2: Reykjavík Sightseeing and Whale Watching
After breakfast we will take you on a Greater Area Reykjavík Sightseeing Tour for a brief introduction of the city. This 2.5-hour bus tour includes the most significant places in capitals area, such as the Presidential Residence at Bessastaðir, Perlan (the Pearl) and Höfði House. After the introduction, you will have time for a close encounter with whales as you join a whale watching tour. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore the city, thermal spas, museums, restaurants and nightlife.

Day 3: Reykjavík and Golden Circle Express
You will have the morning to sleep in or to explore the city by foot, after lunch we will take you on a tour, taking in some of the best-known natural phenomena in Iceland including Þingvellir National Park, the waterfall Gullfoss and the great Geysir area. This six-hour tour is one of the most popular tours in Iceland.

Highlights: Þingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir.

Day 4: The Blue Lagoon and Departure
Passengers departing with the afternoon flight will have time to relax at the amazing Blue Lagoon natural spa, famous for its healing mineral-rich waters surrounded by jet-black basalt lava—a perfect way to end your weekend break. From the Blue Lagoon, you head to Keflavík Airport.

Accommodation Details

We have three categories for accommodation on this tour: Budget, Comfort and Quality.

Budget

Rooms without private facilities. These are in country hotels, farmhouses and guesthouses. Some of these have washbasins in the rooms and all provide breakfast (included in the price). In the more remote areas, most places of accommodation offer optional evening meals.

Comfort

Rooms with private shower or bath and WC. These are in hotels or well-appointed guesthouses. All provide breakfast (included in the price) and most have their own restaurant.

Quality

Rooms with private shower or bath and WC. These are in the best hotels available at each location. All hotels provide breakfast (included in the price) and have their own restaurant.
