Day 1: Arrival/Reykjavik
On arrival in Keflavik, you will be met by your private chauffeur who will welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Reykjavík. After settling in, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the vibrant city at you own pace. Stay in a hotel or guesthouse in Reykjavik.

Day 2: The Golden Circle
After you have received your rental car you have a full day drive, taking in some of the best-known natural phenomena in Iceland including Þingvellir National Park, the waterfall Gullfoss, the sizzling hot springs and geysers at Geysir. Visit the graceful Seljalandsfoss where the sure-footed can walk behind the cascade and the impressive waterfall Skógafoss at Skógar. Stay in a hotel or guesthouse in Vík. Driving distance approx. 340 km / 211 mi.
Highlights: Þingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir, Kerið, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss and Vík.
Day 3: The South Coast
Experience the black volcanic beach of Vík before heading to Skaftafell - a part of Vatnajökull National Park. Drive from Vík to Skaftafell National Park, one of the most beautiful places in Iceland. After you visit Skaftafell, stop at the extremely picturesque Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon by the roots of Vatnajökull, Europe´s largest glacier, where in summer you can take an optional boat-tour.on your way to the village of Höfn. Stay in a hotel or guesthouse in Höfn. Driving distance approx. 270 km / 168 mi.
Highlights: Skaftafell, Vatnajökull, Jökulsárlón and Höfn.
Day 4: East Iceland
Drive to Lake Mývatn, a drive characterised by spectacular fjords, tranquil fishing-villages, rugged tundra and sweeping landscapes. Drive from Höfn to Lake Mývatn in the northeast part of Iceland. Around Mývatn you will find attractions such as the Námaskarð pass, the fascinating lava formations at maze of Dimmuborgir, volcano Krafla, the lunar like pseudo craters at Skútustaðir. Stay in a hotel or guesthouse around Lake Mývatn. Driving distance approx. 415 km / 258 mi.
Highlights: Mt.Búlandstindur, Petra's Mineral Collection, Egilsstaðir, Möðurdalsöræfi, Lake Mývatn, Námaskarð, Dimmuborgir and Skútustaðir.
Day 5: Lake Mývatn and Akureyri
Start the day by exploring the surroundings of Lake Mývatn before heading to Skagafjörður, stopping on the way to enjoy the charming Goðafoss waterfalls, Akureyri town and Glaumbær turf farm museum. Stay in a hotel or guesthouse in Skagafjörður area. Driving distance approx. 240 km / 149 mi.
Highlights: Akureyri, Goðafoss, Glaumbær and Skagafjörður.
Day 6: West Iceland
Head back to the capital. Sights along the way include the volcanic Crater Grábrók and the Settlement Exhibition in the town Borgarnes to name a few. You can take a de-tour to visit the historic site of Reykholt, the beautiful waterfalls Hraunfossar ‘lava waterfalls’ and Barnafoss as well as Deildartunguhver, the largest hot spring in Europe. Stay in a hotel or guesthouse in Reykjavík. Driving distance approx. 240 km / 149 mi. 
Highlights: Grábrók, Settlement Exhibition in Borgarnes, Reykholt, Hraunfossar, Barnafossar, Deildartunguhver and Hvalfjörður.
Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Keflavik airport with FlyBus. If your flight is in the afternoon you can stop at the Blue Lagoon and even take a little tour of the Reykjanes peninsula (not included).
