Flights to/from Iceland
We do not include airfare in most of our tours because we find that you can save money by booking your flights directly with the airlines. This also allows you to take advantage of the airlines’ air-miles or frequent flyer programs.
Using the information provided below, we recommend that you contact the airlines directly for information about flights and bookings. However, if you need advice, our Travel Consultants are here to help. In some cases, we can book airfare for you at an additional surcharge.
Getting to Iceland
With an ever-increasing number of new routes and airlines serving Iceland, it‘s never been easier to get here! Iceland is a strategic travel destination from either side of the Atlantic; flight times are only 3 hours from London and 5 hours from New York with several flights, many on a daily basis, from major European and North American destinations serving Keflavik International Airport. Direct flights are also available to Greenland and the Faroe Islands from the Reykjavik Domestic Airport.

General information:
• If your tour does not include a private transfer to/from Keflavik Airport, we recommend the Flybus shuttle for transfers between Reykjavik and Keflavik Airport.
• For passengers arriving to Iceland from outside the Schengen area (i.e. North America & Britain), there is another security check to pass through before customs and baggage claim. This is in accordance with Schengen security regulations.
