  • Day 1: Arrival in Iceland & Optional Golf Round

    On arrival at Keflavik International Airport, you will be met by a driver and transferred by car to your accommodation in Reykjavík. If you want to hit the greens right away, you have the option of playing a round of golf at Leiran Golf Course before heading to Reykjavik. Otherwise, the rest of the day if free for you to explore the Reykjavik city centre and enjoy dining out at one of its excellent restaurants.

    Spend the next four nights in Reykjavík.

  • Day 2: Golfing on a Lava Field with Ocean Views

    Today, a driver will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to one of the area’s best “master” courses—Keilir, located just 10 km from Reykjavik. Built into a lava field overlooking the ocean, this is one of Iceland’s most scenic and unique courses. Here you can choose from an 18-hole championship course (par 71) or a 9-hole practice course and enjoy the beautiful clubhouse that offers views all the way across the bay to the Snæfellsjökull Glacier.

    Afterwards, you can take in the sights of the Reykjavik area at your leisure or take part in an optional activity, like a whale watching tour from the Reykjavik harbour.

  • Day 3: Volcanic Golf on the Westman Islands

    Start the day with a flight from the Reykjavik Domestic Airport to the Westman Islands, where you will have the unique experience of playing “volcanic golf”. The Vestmannaeyjar golf course is considered one of the most spectacular in the world, where forces of nature can challenge even the most skilled player. Much of the ground in the town of Heimaey consists of lava that is still cooling from the eruption of 1973, which left many houses half-buried. During your flight back to Reykjavik in the afternoon, enjoy the scenery over the beautiful south coast.

  • Day 4: Golden Circle 4x4 Jeep Adventure

    Experience some of the most famous attractions in southern Iceland today with a super-jeep adventure around the “Golden Circle” route. Highlights of your journey include the UNESCO-listed Þingvellir National Park—a place of great historical and geological significance, the Haukadalur geothermal area—home of the original geyser, Geysir, and the two-tiered Gullfoss waterfall. This excursion also gives you a view of Langjökull Glacier and a taste of farm-fresh cuisine with lunch in a barn loft.

    Back in Reykjavík, you have the option of enjoying a round of golf after dinner to experience the almost endless summer daylight of the “midnight sun” phenomenon. (Note: latest tee times are usually 10 PM.) We recommend one of these Reykjavik area courses: Oddur, Grafarholt, Korpan or Kópavogs/Garðabæjar.

  • Day 5: Reykjanes Tour, Blue Lagoon & Departure

    After pick-up from your accommodation in the morning, you will enjoy a short private tour on the volcanic Reykjanes Peninsula, with stops at the geologically active Lake Kleifarvatn area and the colourful Seltún (Krýsuvík) area with its boiling mud-pots.

    From there, your last stop before departure is the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa renowned for its soothing mineral-rich waters. Here you can relax outside in the lagoon surrounded by lava formations or enjoy the saunas, steam room, lagoon bar, indoor cafes and more—a wonderful last experience in Iceland. Afterwards, the driver will take you to Keflavik Airport for your departure flight.

We don’t like to brag, so we’ll let our happy customers do it for us.

Outstanding and Knowledgeable

It was a last minute decision to visit Iceland especially when the volcano eruption was in the horizon. Jelena, our trip advisor was very patient and considerate. I would strongly recommend Nordic Visitor due to the following:
1- Fast response and friendly staff;
2- Knowledgeable;
3- The tour package was very comprehensive beyond expectation and flexible;
4- Every single detail was included and activities were carefully selected;
5- The accommodation location and comfort level was great.
We received the itinerary 2 days before we traveled to Iceland and once we reached everything was in order. No through study was required and we didn't miss anything.

Iceland 2013

I used Nordic Visitor for a trip to Iceland in 2013 for my 10 year old son and I. I knew what I wanted to see and experience on our trip. Nordic Visitor took my list and created a wonderful customized itinerary. Everything was perfect and all arrangements were flawless. I was pleasantly surprised! If you are going to Iceland, I highly recommend working with this group. They are professional, polite, timely and know Iceland!

Sleep soundly, in the accommodation type of your choice, and wake up ready to enjoy another day of exploration.
