  • Day 1: Arrival & Reykjavik Culture Walk

    On arrival at Keflavik Airport, you’ll be met by your private driver and taken to your accommodation in Reykjavik. After settling in, you‘ll get an overview of this vibrant city with a leisurely walking tour, during which your guide will take you to some of the capital's most unusual and original places. This is a great opportunity to experience what sets Reykjavik apart from other capital cities.

    Then in the evening you can enjoy a gourmet dinner at one of Reykjavik’s many fine restaurants—a great opportunity to taste the fresh Atlantic seafood or free-range lamb that the island is famous for.

    Spend the next two nights in Reykjavik.

    Highlights
  • Day 2: Golden Circle & Snowmobile Adventure

    Today’s adventure is a private guided super-jeep tour of the Golden Circle, a popular tourist route that contains some of the country’s most famous attractions. The first stop is Þingvellir National Park, an area of unique geology and the site of Iceland’s ancient assembly grounds. Next is the Haukadalur geothermal area, home of Geysir—the original geyser—and the more active Strokkur, which spouts a stream of boiling water up into the air every few minutes.

    Then after visiting the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, you will get to experience the thrill of gliding across the Langjökull glacier by snowmobile! On the way back you Reykjavik, you will also make a stop to the volcanic implosion crater of Kerið.

  • Day 3: Blue Lagoon Experience & Departure

    After pick up from your hotel, your guide will take you on a 4x4 super-jeep excursion to the volcanic Reykjanes Peninsula, where you will visit the geologically active Lake Kleifarvatn area and the colourful Seltún area of Krýsuvík with its boiling mud-pots.

    Before heading to the airport, you will also have some time to experience Iceland’s famous Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa renowned for its mineral-rich waters surrounded by a moon-like lava field. Here you will enjoy a few hours in the Exclusive Lounge with complimentary towels, bathrobe, slippers and light refreshments as well as a deep, relaxing half-hour massage in the warm water of the lagoon. After this wonderful last memory of Iceland, you will be taken to Keflavik Airport for your departure flight.

    Note: If your flight is in the morning, we can change your travel itinerary accordingly. We are also happy to customize your holiday with additional day tours or extra nights in Reykjavik. Please contact us for details.

Reviews

We don’t like to brag, so we’ll let our happy customers do it for us.

Outstanding and Knowledgeable

It was a last minute decision to visit Iceland especially when the volcano eruption was in the horizon. Jelena, our trip advisor was very patient and considerate. I would strongly recommend Nordic Visitor due to the following:

1- Fast response and friendly staff;
2- Knowledgeable;
3- The tour package was very comprehensive beyond expectation and flexible;
4- Every single detail was included and activities were carefully selected;
5- The accommodation location and comfort level was great.

We received the itinerary 2 days before we traveled to Iceland and once we reached everything was in order. No through study was required and we didn't miss anything.

Iceland 2013

I used Nordic Visitor for a trip to Iceland in 2013 for my 10 year old son and I. I knew what I wanted to see and experience on our trip. Nordic Visitor took my list and created a wonderful customized itinerary. Everything was perfect and all arrangements were flawless. I was pleasantly surprised! If you are going to Iceland, I highly recommend working with this group. They are professional, polite, timely and know Iceland!
