Seamless planning with a super-organized guidebook and instructions handed to us upon arrival exceeded every expectation for our trip. In planning for a 2-week self-driving tour, we assumed we'd be able to save $$ by booking ourselves. And maybe this is true. But keeping all the details straight and guessing on drive times between stops made our heads spin - when all we wanted to do was get in the car, soak in the beauty of the island, have amazing experiences as a family, and then have a warm shower and a comfy bed waiting for us at the end of the day. We had a great tour organised via Nordic Visitor. The communications was excellent, the itinerary that was prepared highlighted the fantastic scenery, geography and people of Iceland. Normally we do all trip planning and booking ourselves, but since we had never been to Iceland having an expert put things together made the trip so much more enjoyable.

We had a great experience with Nordic Visitor. From the initial contact with Hanna to the final journey to Keflavik airport, everything was extraordinary. After booking, Hanna kept us informed about progress in setting up the itinerary. We had to make a change in that we were arriving by cruise ship and not by air, and that was handled perfectly. We selected Comfort Plus (and not Superior) accommodations, and all of the accommodations were fine, and several were absolutely outstanding. The recommended daily sightseeing itinerary was very helpful in guiding us through the entire trip. The personalized Iceland map (showing sites and accommodations) and guidebook was perfect. I don't think we can recommend Nordic Visitor too highly!

My personal travel consultant was very friendly and answered all of my questions promptly and designed my tour exactly to my liking. Everything was well organized so I could show up at booked activities and accommodations and not have to worry about anything. The accommodations were all very clean, well kept and the breakfasts were fantastic. I would highly recommend using Nordic Visitor.

Nordic Visitor was an outstanding tour company to work with. Jana was fantastic and very pleasant to work with. Vero was also very responsive to our needs. They provided a ton of information to help us plan our trip. This included important information for traveling in Ireland but also numerous recommendations for different tours along our routes. They prearranged everything, lodging, breakfasts, car rental, & chauffeur service and we never had any problems whatsoever. We highly recommend Nordic Visitor for your visit to Ireland. We had never travelled to Ireland before and thanks to Nordic Visitor we had a great time.

Our trip to Iceland was one of the best summer holidays we have ever had! We spent 12-days on a self-drive holiday around the Ring Road, and each day was filled with spectacular sights and experiences. Nordic Visitor made everything a breeze, especially taking care of our hotel accommodations, car rental arrangements, and booking several exclusions. The additional booklets of information and maps allowed us to plan each day and ensured that we didn't miss anything important along the way. I would gladly travel with Nordic Visitor again, as they were always prompt in providing updates about our trip and answering any questions that we had. A perfect trip from start to finish!

This tour exceeded my expectations of a small group tour. The entire trip was well organized beginning with the transfer from the airport. The hotel accommodations, meals, daily itineraries were all 5 star. The tour guide, Barbara, was a wealth of historical information and very funny, as was the driver, John. She made the daily road trips interesting and the laughs made it enjoyable. Barbara also played Scottish music as we traversed the Highlands - background music appropriate for the amazing scenery going by. During one of our hotel dinners, John arrived in Highland dress as did Barbara, which was quite charming and appreciated by all. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and having a week of sunny skies made for some beautiful pictures. We would not hesitate to use Nordic Visitor again.

The trip was extremely well organized, the hotels were great and we thoroughly enjoyed the vacation. This was our 4th trip organized by Nordic Visitor and we have never been disappointed. Would definitely use them again if we travel to one of their destinations.

Juliana was our travel consultant with Nordic Visitor and she was fantastic. She always responded promptly to our enquiries and any concerns we had. Our original schedule had to be altered when they cancelled the train from Oslo to Trondheim for track maintenance. Juliana was able to suggest an alternative schedule that still met our needs. Subsequently, flooding caused that same route to be cancelled indefinitely and Juliana came through again offering us a flight to Trondheim instead at no extra charge. It was definitely worth the price to have someone else handle all the arrangements.

We found this tour perfect for our needs. To arrive, collect your car and head off knowing you don't mind to be concerned about where you are going to stay is excellent. The accommodation was all different but ideal for the tour, especially having the on site restaurants which is ideal at the end of a busy day.

This was our first tour with Nordic Visitor. Our Travel Consultant, Maria, was fantastic. She coordinated a late change to the itinerary requested by us which really made the trip perfect for us. The communication was excellent and the trip was fantastic. We did the Express Switzerland tour and made memories that will last a lifetime.

This is our second Nordic visitor tour and we were mostly pleased with the overall results and tour. I would strongly recommend that for driving tours that the tour documentation include information about parking. None of our hotels included parking (which is fine) but locating parking was VERY challenging, and even though many of the hotels have the option to reserve a spot, this was not indicated by Nordic Visitor. The challenge of dealing with finding parking added a negative stress to the end of each day that could have easily been alleviated with a few extra sentences in the guide book. Otherwise our tour was excellent.
