  • Day 1:  Reykjavik Culture Walk & Helicopter Tour

    On arrival at Keflavik Airport, you’ll be met by your private driver and taken to your accommodation in Reykjavik. Take some time to relax and settle in before heading out into the downtown on a private walking tour, during which your guide will lead you to some of the most unusual and original places in Reykjavik.

    Later, you’ll be transferred to the Reykjavik Airport for a private helicopter sightseeing tour over the capital area, which includes a champagne toast on a mountain summit with amazing views. Afterwards, we recommend celebrating your first evening in Iceland with a delicious dinner at one of Reykjavik’s fine restaurants.

    Spend the next three nights in Reykjavik.

  • Day 2:  Europe’s Largest Glacier & Floating Icebergs

    Start the day with a short flight from Reykjavik Domestic Airport to the charming seaside village of Höfn. There you will be met by your expert glacier guides and taken on a thrilling 4x4 super jeep excursion to Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier. This adventure also includes some time for you to zoom around the icecap on a snowmobile. Then your guides will take you to the famous Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, where you will experience a boat ride through the icy maze before heading back to the Höfn airport.

    After your return flight to Reykjavik, enjoy the evening in the old city centre with its wide variety of gourmet dining options offering everything from internationally inspired dishes to more traditional Icelandic cuisine.

  • Day 3:  Golden Circle 4x4 Safari & Spa Pampering

    The highlight today is a private guided super-jeep tour of the Golden Circle, a popular tourist route that contains some of the country’s most famous attractions. The first stop is Þingvellir National Park, the site of Iceland’s first parliament and a place where you can walk in a rift valley between continents. Next is the Haukadalur geothermal area, home of Geysir—the original geyser—and the more active Strokkur, which spouts every few minutes. Before heading back to Reykjavik you’ll also visit beautiful Gullfoss waterfall Gullfoss and the volcanic implosion crater of Kerið.

    Later, you will enjoy a relaxing body massage at one of the finest spas in Reykjavik—a great way to feel refreshed for tomorrow’s wilderness adventure.

  • Day 4:  Exclusive Highland Tour at Landmannalaugar

    Start the day with breakfast at your hotel before being picked up by your guide for an exclusive journey into Iceland’s “no man’s land”—the uninhabited highlands. This private super-jeep excursion takes you past Iceland’s most active volcano, Mt. Hekla, and through Arctic deserts and mountain lakes on your way to the geological wonderland of Landmannalaugar. Here you will have the unique experience to take a dip in a hot spring surrounded by nothing but colourful rhyolite peaks. Back in the city, you can spend the evening as you wish after this action-packed day.

    Please note: In the event of road closures in the highlands or bad weather conditions, it may be necessary to alter today’s itinerary.

Outstanding and Knowledgeable

It was a last minute decision to visit Iceland especially when the volcano eruption was in the horizon. Jelena, our trip advisor was very patient and considerate. I would strongly recommend Nordic Visitor due to the following:
1- Fast response and friendly staff;
2- Knowledgeable;
3- The tour package was very comprehensive beyond expectation and flexible;
4- Every single detail was included and activities were carefully selected;
5- The accommodation location and comfort level was great.
We received the itinerary 2 days before we traveled to Iceland and once we reached everything was in order. No through study was required and we didn't miss anything.

Most professional and efficient service ever

From when we first made inquiries about visiting Iceland, we got the most professional and efficient service that we've EVER received before. We couldn't fault any aspect of the 3 weeks we spent in Iceland.

Sleep soundly, in the accommodation type of your choice, and wake up ready to enjoy another day of exploration.
