Economy
Most of the accommodation options in this category are small, family-run businesses that offer the perfect setting to meet locals. Rooms with shared bathroom facilities in farmhouses, cosy guesthouses, or well-appointed hostels.
Comfort Plus
In this category, you can expect standard rooms with private facilities in good quality and comfortable three-star hotels, well-appointed guesthouses, or charming country hotels. There will typically be a restaurant or bar on-site.
Superior
Accommodation options in this category are premium hotel brands and independent hotels, with a restaurant and bar on-site. This means standard rooms in four-star hotels, Deluxe or Superior rooms in premium three-star hotels, or the highest quality properties available.
Luxury
Enjoy the very best of Iceland with the luxury accommodation category. Expect junior suites (or deluxe rooms if suites aren’t available) at four-star hotels in the cities or top four-star and boutique hotels in rural locations. All these properties have a restaurant and bar on-site.

1 person = one single room
2 sharing = one twin/double room
3 sharing = one triple room/double room with extra bed
4 sharing = two twin/double rooms
5 or more sharing = as requested
Family rooms are sometimes available in certain hotels if you need more space.
