All accommodation and planned activities (as specified in the itinerary) will be pre-booked by Nordic Visitor.
ACCOMMODATION AND ROOM TYPE
Our team of local travel experts at Nordic Visitor have compiled a list of wonderful hotels for your stay in Iceland. We carefully select hotels/guesthouses in Reykjavik and the countryside based on excellent ratings, personal experience and comfort. Single, double and triple rooms are available for our packages. Please note, that in Iceland our room types are based on European standard sizes. For instance, a double bed often consists of two single beds pushed together. Triple rooms include a double bed along with an extra bed, a rollaway or a sofa bed, and a single room is often smaller than the standard double.
ADD-ON OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Travellers can choose to add-on selected optional extras when booking online. It is also possible to add extra nights to packages along with customising the tours to client needs. Please note, the optional extras are not private unless otherwise stated.
NORTHERN LIGHTS & WINTER TRAVEL
Please note that sightseeing is dependent on weather and road conditions and might need to be altered if conditions are not favourable. Please be advised that daylight is limited in Iceland during the winter months, with about 4-5 hours of daylight during the holiday season, from December to January. Winter in Iceland is considered to be from October to April. For more information on weather conditions and daylight hours and daylight hours, we recommend visiting Nordic Visitor’s Online Travel Guide.
In Iceland, northern lights activity is strongest between mid October to March. Auroras can only be seen at night if the sky is clear and there is solar activity. Please note that sightings cannot be guaranteed. For more information about northern lights, please refer to the travel guide.
