Sights along the way include the twin waterfalls Hraunfossar and Barnafoss along with the Deildartunguhver hot spring.

Today's journey brings you up close and personal with some of Iceland’s most popular south Iceland attractions along the classic Golden Circle route. End the day’s adventure with a visit to the two-tiered, roaring Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s most memorable sights, before journeying on to your premium hotel for the night.

If you have a preference for the agenda, kindly let your guide know and he or she will see if the itinerary can be adjusted. The time spent at each spot will be based on your interests, but the guide will of course go by the original itinerary and have the local expertise on what they recommend doing each day.

Your guide will choose the best routes to drive depending on weather and road conditions. The safety of our travellers comes first and the driver will not take chances. Rest assured that the guide will, of course, make stops at scenic sites, regardless of the road taken.

The Retreat at the Blue Lagoon offers entry to the Retreat Spa and the Blue Lagoon. Guests will have access to the Blue Lagoon Ritual, as well as skin care amenities and the facilities of the original Blue Lagoon. In a spacious sanctuary of three interconnected chambers, you cover your body with Icelandic geothermal seawater.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the accommodation at the Blue Lagoon Retreat to be available when you book so we might need to adjust your itinerary due to limited availability at the Retreat or offer you a different option if it is fully booked for your travel dates.

Please note that sightseeing is dependent on weather and road conditions and might need to be altered if conditions are not favourable.
