An historical hot tub

Guðrúnarlaug, or “Guðrún’s Pool,” in Sælingsdalur is the site of an ancient pool named after Guðrún Ósvífursdóttir, the heroine of the Laxdæla Saga, who was renowned for her beauty. The original pool was believed to have been destroyed in a landslide in the 17th century, and a replica has since been built where visitors can bathe.
