You will find post offices located across Reykjavík as well as all major communities in Iceland. You can purchase stamps, and send letters or packages in the post office. You can also buy sweets and souvenirs.
Business hours in the Reykjavik area are usually 09:00 – 18:00 from Monday – Friday, but post offices in smaller communities may have shorter hours.
Post boxes are dotted across the country so there is always an opportunity to send off your postcards and gifts.
